Wireless Merger A Boon For Rural America |

| USCA (June 9, 2008) - The U.S. Cattlemen's Association (USCA) issued the following statement today in support of the proposed merger between Verizon Wireless and Alltel Wireless.
“America’s ranchers and farmers depend upon reliable and affordable communications to support their farms and ranches,” said USCA President Jon Wooster. “Marrying a major rural wireless provider with the largest and most reliable national provider is a boon for our members and farmers across America. It can only lead to the kinds of new innovations, increased investment, and the greater choice in wireless services rural America needs.” |
