U.S. Cattlemen’s Association To Hold Mid-Year Meeting In Texas

USCA (June 2, 2009) - The U.S. Cattlemen’s Association (USCA) will hold its mid-year membership meeting in conjunction with the Independent Cattlemen’s Association (ICA) of Texas 35th Annual Convention and Trade Show June 17 - 19 at the Embassy Suites in San Marcos, Texas. ICA is an affiliate of the U.S. Cattlemen’s Association.

USCA’s business meeting will be held Thursday, June 18 beginning at 8:00 a.m. at the Embassy Suites. USCA members are welcome to attend the ICA convention activities at the same economical rate as ICA members. Hotel reservations can be made by calling the Embassy Suites San Marcos at 512/392-6450. USCA members who want to register for the ICA convention and trade show may do so by calling Christy at the ICA Office in Lockhart, Texas at 512/620-0162.

Convention-goers will be able to take in presentations from a number of speakers on industry issues including Dr. Bob Hillman, Executive Director of the Texas Animal Health Commission and Texas Commissioner of Agriculture Todd Staples.
