USDA – FDA hosted a joint public meeting on October 23 & 24 to discuss foods produced using cell-cultured technology. USCA, represented by past president Danni Beer, testified at that meeting and reiterated that the terms “beef” and “meat” should pertain exclusively to the flesh of an animal harvested in the traditional manner.
